I coloured the Domino with Ranger Alcohol Inks and 

use Distress Ink pads on the concertinaed pages. 

Then stamped with stamps from my collection.

Floral Birthday Card

Made this card for my aunt. The image is from Joanna Sheen's 

'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' image cd. 

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Secret Book

I made this for a secret book swap, my swappies theme was an old library. I made a digi layout for the cover and used a digital image of books for the inside. The drawers were made with the Sizzix big shot pro matchbox die and then filled with goodies.

2012 New Year, New Goals

With the start of the new year I have been taking restocks of where I want to go with my blogs. I'm not good with resolutions so I've just decided to make some frameworks of goals for 2012 for each of my blogs and every few months I'll review where I am in trying to achieve them.

My health was up and down again through much of last year, yet we can learn from everything in life if we choose to look. One of the many things I learned was that a) One blog was not good for my mind as I felt claustrophobic, with so many things I wanted to include in it. b) Separate blogs for everything just had a tendency to overwhelm me. Another thing that I learned is that there is a light and dark side to me, I don't like to mix them but they are both part of me and I enjoy them both in their own ways. Like wise I have a serious logical side and a flighty erratic whimsy nature that sit side by side. Basically I'm a person of contradictions.

I've only got 2 goals to add to this blog

1) Blogging - This is the same on all my blogs, I want to get involved again and I'll try to blog at least once a week.

2) Have Fun - Whether I'm in a darker or one of my lighter whimsy moods, I want to recapture the fun of crafting. Try some new things, have another go at some old crafts and just generally follow my spirit..
